Posting on your Itechra CMS news module is a great way to keep your followers informed. You can setup a RSS feed on Facebook so that your Itechra CMS news articles or event calendar are automatically posted on your Facebook wall page.
There are a good number of RSS feed applications available on Facebook. For this step-by-step, I’ve chosen RSS Graffiti. To setup RSS Graffiti on your Facebook organization page follow the instructions below.
Step 1.
You can go directly to the RSS Graffiti Facebook Application by clicking on this link.

From the RSS Graffiti Facebook page Click on the Get Application button on the RSS Graffiti. The application will request approval to setup permissions so that RSS Graffiti can update your Facebook page.
Click on the “Click here to authorize and continue” button. You will need to authorize RSS Graffiti to access your Facebook page, grant it permission to allow constant authorization and confirm that RSS Graffiti has permission to publish on your Facebook page.
Step 2.
Once RSS Graffiti is setup on your Facebook page you can create a RSS feed. First you will need to obtain the RSS URL from your website. To do this go to your website and select your news module or event module. Click on the orange RSS icon as shown below.
After you click on your RSS feed icon copy the web address of your RSS feed as shown below.
Step 3.
Go back to the RSS Graffiti application page on your organization home page. The RSS Graffiti application should be listed on the left side menu navigation of your Facebook page. If you are haging problems locating it you can always go back to the http://apps.facebook.com/rssgraffiti/ URL to select it..
Click on the Add Feed button as shown below.
1. Paste the RSS URL you copied in the step above into the Feed URL.
2. Enter a Source Name title.
3. Click Refresh preview or the click here to fetch and preview link.
4. Click the Save button.
Your Facebook status will now be updated from your news module. Please note it may take an hour for the first updates to be posted. RSS Graffiti updates based on a timed interval usually every half hour.
